MOME Budapest has won an international innovation tender

Winning an international innovation tender for the first time in its history, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design is set to play an international role in an important area of research and development.

The university will help advance the transition to a biomass-based economy through the European Union’s Horizon research and development program.

MOME, which set up its Tender and Development Directorate a year ago, is helping to realize the potential of organic materials, waste and plant feedstocks for energy production in pursuit of this objective, which is also important for Hungary. The new directorate is aiming to put the university on the map of international collaborations. The fact that its first application received a maximum score by the EU’s Sustainable Development and Climate Action Program is already considered a major success.
