New EP with utopistic sound and visuals | ONAKOM

Deep, textured images and atmospheres on the border of experimental sound design, downtempo and bass: Tamás Birinyi worked as a graphic and motion designer in a number of renowned music projects before embarking on a music-producing career of his own. His distinctive, dark visuals are embodied by his sounds in the recently released EP entitled Obscure.

The EP summarizes the learning and path-finding process of the past one and a half years. The surreal soundscapes of Birinyi’s abstract and diversely structured songs sweep us into the depths of a utopistic world. “Obscure is the first imprint of entering new territory. It’s experimentation; careful yet sometimes reckless steps in an unfamiliar environment that still seems to be a bit familiar somehow,” said Tamás.
