noa* imagines a futuristic look for the new European library

noa* is amongst the contenders who have submitted a proposal for designing the European Library of Information and Culture to be built in Milan. The project, titled the Tree of Knowledge, was imagined by creating an all-permeating natural landscape in the form of an organic roof ring that houses a flourishing park.

“Just as the cover of a book contains a story to dive into, the new European library conceals under a green landscape a knowledge available to anyone who wants to grasp it. Imbued with surreal atmospheres of rooftop forests and flying books, the new cultural center places the visitor in the perfect condition to venture into new and unknown worlds.” explained the studio.
