Copenhagen-based KiteX has come up with a professional wind turbine designed primarily for everyday use: for campers, mobile home owners and for anyone who wants a little backup power for unforeseen situations.
The kite-inspired structure can be assembled by just one person in 15 minutes. It is made of recycled plastics and high-strength glass-fiber rods and can be packed up in a bag for transportation. Its structure is light and strong at the same time, there is no need for a foundation or brackets to set it up.
The wind catcher is available in two versions: the 200W version is enough to operate a small refrigerator, some lamps, a laptop or router, while the 600W turbine provides enough power to support personal electric equipment, charge e-bikes or boil water.
