The country’s first Danube bridge for cyclists soon to be built

The construction permit has been granted for the cycling bridge over the Danube branch between Dunabogdány and Kisoroszi, which will lead to Szentendre Island. An important design criterion was that the new structure should not dominate the landscape, and the Speciálterv’s anchored suspension bridge alone was perfectly suited to this..

In the design of the connecting sections, they paid special attention to the preservation of existing natural assets and to the simplicity of form. There will also be rest stops on the bridge where cyclists can stop to look around.
