Polish architecture firm MJZ has introduced a proposal for a new urban farming masterplan. The facility would not only grow natural food products, but would also function as a nutrition research center and a community space.
More and more researchers emphasize the need of switching to a plant-based diet, however, there aren’t too many viable answers as to how we could ensure the sustainable mass production of organic vegetables and products. Architecture firm MJZ placed this question in the focus in their project titled „Gardens of the Future”.
In addition to farming, the center would also give home to serious research work and educational activities envisioned in an urban environment. The production methods developed in the organic laboratories by putting latest technologies to use could be tested right away on the green roofs, plantations and greenhouses of the buildings.
