After the “Big Red Boots” made quite a commotion on social media in February, designers have come up with an even more extreme idea.

The Brooklyn-based design collective MSCHF is known for its crazy but always on-trend ideas, but the biggest hitwas their “Big Red Boots” footwear, which has graced the wardrobes of celebrities like Lil Wayne and Ciara this year and divided the fashion scene for a good while. According to the designers, the boots are an attempt to take a piece of clothing from a two-dimensional fairytale world, specifically the cartoon Astro Boy, and bring the freedom that is inherent in two-dimensional worlds to our three-dimensional world.

This year, the creators of the big boot decided to launch another product very similar to the previous one, but this time they have added some Crocs details to the original idea, such as the holes or the strap above the heel, which also features the brand logo. The boots are called “Big Red Boot (Yellow)”.
