Anjuna Ice Pops packaging wins Red Dot award

The packaging of Anjuna ice pops balancing somewhere between a colorful fruit orgy and clean shapes not only stole our hearts: the team of DekoRatio received the most prestigious design prize, the Red Dot award for the design.

Anjuna’s vegan ice pops landed on the shelves of stores this May, and the designers of DekoRatio Branding and Design Studio, Szani Mészáros and Dóra Novotny even shared some insights about the loveable and clever packagings with us. The packaging inspired by the slogan Summer is a lifestyle now received a professional acknowledgement, and quite a prominent one actually: it was considered the best by a 24-member jury at Red Dot Awards also known as the Oscars of the design scene.

The relationship of Anjuna Ice Pops and DekoRatio dates back to a long time. The studio designed the brand’s elephant visual identity, with which they entered the market in 2016 and became the summer hit in Budapest instantly. When the ice pops were to be distributed in stores – they are currently available in Interspar stores and health-food shops –, they turned to DekoRatio once again for a striking packaging design. And their collaboration does not end here: Anjuna Ice Pops founder-CEO József Szalay announced that the audience can expect something big for Christmas, too.
