The Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency organizes Budapest Fashion & Tech Summit, the prestigious fashion technology event of the region for the third time. In light of the epidemic, this year’s event will be held online, between November 30 and December 1.
In the framework of the conference, internationally acknowledged experts will offer insights into the topics of sustainability, changing business models and technological innovations amongst others. The two-day professional forum will kick off with a keynote dialogue between stylist icon and fashion expert Anna Dello Russo, the editor of Vogue Japan and Zsófia Bata-Jakab, the head of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency.
The aim of the conference is to secure a place for Budapest on the list of sustainable fashion capitals and for city to have a leading role in establishing a more eco-conscious Central Eastern European region. The international speakers will discuss important issues concerning the fashion industry including sustainability, technological innovations, the impacts of the epidemic on the fashion industry as well as the changes of business models. The list of speakers include Luceny Fofana, Burberry’s head of marketing and Stefan Siegel, the founder of Not Just a Label, a platform for showcasing and nurturing contemporary and emerging designers, amongst many others.
