The iconic logo is broken by waves on Apple’s third store in Singapore, built at a quite unusual spot: on the water in a bay.
The store is not open to the public yet, but has already went viral: social media is flooded by the images taken of the extraordinary structure. The new store was designed by Foster + Partners, a studio that has already worked on one of Singapore’s former Apple stores.
Even though it may seem as if the building standing in the bay is floating on the water, in reality it is connected to the shopping center of Marina Bay Sands complex reaching along the shore under the water. Visitors will also be able to access the store on the surface, through a footbridge.
