In a few days, Hungary’s Paloznak will once again become the jazz capital of the Lake Balaton region, where lovers of the genre can celebrate their love of music for three days.
For the past eleven years, the small village ten minutes’ drive from Füred has hosted one of the most exciting events on the calendar. Starting as a small jamboree, it has grown over the years to become a mainstay of the Nagyon Balaton series of events, attracting around 18,000 visitors in 2019. Each year the festival presents an increasingly vibrant and diverse line-up of performers, seamlessly blending renowned international luminaries with key figures from the Hungarian jazz scene.

Rick Astley | 3 August

Thievery Corporation | 4 August
The legendary American electronic music duo was founded in 1995 by Rob Garza and Eric Hilton in Washington, DC. The band combines downtempo, chillout, and trip-hop genres with sensual world music elements to create a unique and unrepeatable sound. Over the years, the band has given their fans many successful albums and hits, including The Richest Man in Babylon and Mirror Conspiracy.


Dirty Loops | 4 August
Dirty Loops is an exciting Swedish band that fuses elements of pop, jazz, and funk in a unique way. The trio consists of virtuosos Jonah Nilsson, Henrik Linder, and Aron Mellergårdh, who captivate audiences with their impressive instrumental skills and dynamic stage presence.


LEVEL 42 | 5 August
Formed in 1980, the British jazz-funk and pop-rock group topped the charts for most of the following decade and their unique sound continues to influence the contemporary music world to this day. Level 42 has released a number of successful albums, including World Machine and Running in the Family.
