South Korea flew 300 drones on the sky to thank the tireless work of healthcare workers and to encourage people to hold on.
The event held on July 4 was organized by the government. The 11-minute-long light show took place above Seoul’s Han river. In order to prevent the gathering of masses, the show was not advertised in advance.
The figures drawn by the drones illustrated activities going hand in hand with the pandemic, thus wearing masks, washing hands, distancing and expressing appreciation also appeared in the form of illuminating dots, amongst others.
South Korea has shown an exemplary attitude in the fight against the Coronavirus on a global level, even though they still have some registered cases at the moment.
