Tipton | Glasses for all the heroes!

Tipton Global Kft. offers the entirety of glasses produced by it this year to health care workers, and the distributors of lenses also joined their initiative. Complemented with an eye test, the doctors and nurses can get new, high quality glasses within a short period of time, completely free of charge.

Almost everyone in Hungary knows the Tipton Eyeworks brand: they became famous within a glimpse of the eye in the beginning of the 2000s with optical frames made out of vinyl. The originator of the brand, Zack Tipton started creating frames in 1998 in the US, but he moved back to Hungary in 2001. Since then, he has been designing his extravagant frames, which became the favorite of many stars, including Elton John, Robbie Williams and Michael Madsen, here, in Hungary.

The team of Tipton Eyeworks thinks that now is the time to pay back the successes of the past years, and they decided to participate in the combat against the coronavirus epidemic with a special offering: the Glasses for all the heroes! program.

Tipton Eyeworks offers the glasses produced by it in 2020 to the hospital workers fighting against the pandemic, and institutions such as Zeiss Vision Hungary, HOYA, ESSILOR and Noptiker Kft. already joined their initiative, so the frames will come with top quality lenses.

All future Tipton owners have to do, without interrupting their work, is to send an eye examination result to the company and a picture of themselves. If an applicant does not have recent results, the company provides free eye examinations out of turn, of course in line with hygienic requirements.

You can apply on the website of Tipton HERE.

“We’ll not be sitting at home, doing nothing, we are going to fight the virus, too. We’ll do everything to support the health care workers fighting on the frontiers” – stated Zack Tipton, the founder of Tipton Global Kft.
