The winners of the PLY DESIGN HOUSE design contest received their awards

Plydesign’s PLY DESIGN HOUSE design contest closed after a final round of one and a half months of product development and personal consultations, and the winners were announced at an award ceremony on 15 October.

The consultations were based on technological feasibility, design and layout, as well as market, economic, commercial and marketing criteria. As a result of the long judging process that followed, Anna Kovács won the Grand Prize and the associated HUF 1 million cash prize, a 6-month paid career training program and a commercialization contract. Laura Schillinger came first in the online voting and got the Audience Award, which won her a study trip to the Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair 2022. The shortlist also included concepts by Fanni Barta, Áron Sütheő and Ildikó Varga. Check out the shortlisted entries!
