Giulio Cappellini talks about sustainability in design courses

The London Design Festival is still on this weekend, where art director of the Italian design school Istituto Marangoni Giulio Cappellini will be invited for a talk.

The iconic Italian furniture brand Cappellini was founded by Giulio Cappellini’s father in 1946. Among other things, the company’s known for looking all over the world for emerging design talents and has helped launching the career of designers such as Tom Dixon, Jasper Morrison, Marcel Wanders, the Bouroullec brothers and the Barber & Osgerby.

Chaired by Dezeen’s assistant editor for design and environment Jennifer Hahn, the talk will explore the importance of teaching sustainability on design courses and how it can be taught effectively.
