The building complex in Kudykina Gora Park, Russia, draws its visual elements from local traditions and architectural heritage rather than international trends.
According to the Moscow-based Megabudka studio, Russia’s modern and contemporary buildings lack character and don’t have an organic relationship with national cultural values. Megabudka delved into the so-called New Russian Style and summarized their findings in the buildings of the hospitality center in Kudykina Gora Park. The building complex has a black ebony façade, with individual blocks drawing different geometric silhouettes in the Russian landscape.
