House with the waves of the ocean on its top

The location of this house on the coasts of Chile is already exceptional in itself, but the cherry on top is provided by its undulating concrete roof.

This gorgeous villa lies on the rocky coast of the Pacific, in Los Vilos, Chile, designed by Pritzker-award winning architect Ryue Nishizawa. The single-story building with an oblong floorplan was built into the hillside, placing it between earth and sky, being only separated from the latter by glass walls and a few steps.

The house offers unmatched views, but the building itself also looks spectacular from above. Built of concrete, its undulating roof supported by glass walls and steel columns looks as if the waves of the ocean solidified on the ground.
