Hungary’s first immersive digital art exhibition space opens

The exhibition of Cinema Mystica, Hungary’s first immersive digital art team, is a sensory journey through 21 unique installations in the iconic location of the Hungarian capital.

Last year, Kristály Theater on Margaret Island hosted a special exhibition by Cinema Mystica, and now the Párisi Passage will welcome visitors with digital artworks, immersive projection spaces, 3D printed sculptures, interactive experiences, and short films.

The exhibition’s creators reconsider the relationship between art and technology, creating an unparalleled audiovisual experience. The aim is to present a new show every six months, introducing new media artists from the country and Central and Eastern Europe to the Hungarian public.

The 2023 inaugural exhibition will focus on the relationship between sacredness and digital art, addressing questions such as whether digital art can convey sacred content or whether technology can sublimate for a higher purpose.
