Italian kitchen design at arm’s reach | Veneta Cucine opens first showroom in Budapest

Italian design and Italian gastronomy are both world-renowned concepts, combining tradition and innovation with quality craftsmanship and ingredients. The kitchen furniture represents a fusion of the two fields: design pieces that give space to the art of food, contributing to a cozy atmosphere for cooking and dining. Not surprisingly, Italians are at the forefront of kitchen design.

Value for money: reason of price and distance

As of September, all this will be within reach in Hungary: Italy’s leading kitchen furniture company Veneta Cucine is opening its first showroom in downtown Budapest. Accessibility is not just a matter of geographical distance: the furniture, combining unique handcrafted traditions with innovative design solutions, is also available at affordable prices. Italian kitchen furniture design is thus literally at your fingertips, filling a relevant gap in the market. Solinfo Group, which has already successfully launched several world design brands in Hungary, is behind the brand’s market entry.

Six decades of expertise

The story of Veneta Cucine began in 1967 in the province of Treviso, home of prosecco and tiramisu. Over the decades, the local, family-run business has grown into a multinational group with 800 employees and a global presence. The founder’s three sons have remained on the management board to this day, ensuring that the original values are preserved and that a harmonious combination of timeless traditions and up-and-coming trends is maintained. Veneta Cucine is Italian to the core: functional aesthetics, clean yet sophisticated design, natural materials, and effortless chic. The wood is harvested and processed in-house using locally sourced ingredients, ensuring that the kitchens are of the highest quality available. Meanwhile, they are committed to producing sustainably, using only electricity generated from renewable sources.

Ample choice, tailor-made

The Kertész Street showroom is not only the new home of Italian design but also the largest kitchen showroom in the country. Ten iconic kitchen systems and forty models make up an extraordinary selection in the impressive three-story, 550 sqm space. The kitchen elements are based on five different structures and are available in three hundred color and material combinations. The furniture you choose can thus be truly tailored to your personal needs and tastes.

The carefully composed interior enhances the exclusive lifestyle: the space is decorated with Kerakoll finishes and inspired by Vibia lamps, accessories from Home of Solinfo, and unique Timbart tables.
