Shiny steel surfaces and plenty of light characterize Rivne’s newest café, the Salut Café Bar. Using the charm of simplicity, the design office RomanXSvitlana dreamed up a truly timeless and functional interior.
The basement of the two-story café has a professional kitchen, and the ground floor has a salad bar, open kitchen, bar counter, and food elevator. Steel structures placed on the ceiling have more than just a decorative purpose: they allow a slice to be freely detached from the space anywhere, giving the opportunity to create different events and installations.
Plenty of daylight inspired designers to use white and stainless steel on the walls and ceiling, increasing the depth of the space while also enlarging it.
An important consideration when designing the lighting was for the lights to highlight the beauty of the natural materials and the characteristics of the spatial layout. Individually designed furniture gives the interior a distinctive flavor, and plenty of plants bring the monochrome spaces to life.
