Makers Market Budapest, the capital's new design market, will open soon

MAKERS MARKET BUDAPEST is the latest initiative of the Makers of Budapest project, a monthly fair showcasing designers and artisans from Budapest, where you can meet unique designer products and their creators.

The handmade designer objects showcased at the fair represent both local and global cultural values at the forefront of contemporary design by expressing their individual character. The organizers of the event, Károly Boldizsár and Petra Hoffmann, have gained extensive experience in the field of design markets and craft fairs over the years, both as participants and organizers.

“Participation in the fair is by invitation only, with the unanimous support of the curatorial team. The emphasis is on quality rather than quantity, and it is important to us that contemporary domestic design is represented in the event on a broader scale and at the highest possible quality,” say the organizers.

The first fair will open on 14 November at the Turbina Cultural Centre, an exciting and fresh all-arts cultural venue in the heart of Józsefváros.

Makers Market Budapest: 14 November. Sunday 10.00 – 16.00
Location: TURBINA, 1082 Budapest, Vajdahunyad Street 4.
