Margaret Island returns to Budapest Park with a mini-festival

In the spirit of acceptance, connection, and peace, Margaret Island’s Flower Power mini-festival will take place on 6 August in Budapest Park. The band will be joined on stage by Solére, Pandóra Projekt, and Brenka for a truly special evening celebrating diversity.

”As a little girl, I was first influenced by the film Hair and the music of Janis Joplin. I remember carrying a long, red, flowered bag with me, and as a teenager, I would spend my free time at concerts with my friends,“ says Margaret Island singer Viki Lábas. ”For me, the Woodstock feeling is mostly about the desire for freedom and turning to each other as human beings. It means creating something together that is a break from the norm.“ Viki believes that perhaps never before has it been so important to show the power of bringing people together who share similar principles.
