Kraków-based architecture studio NArchitekTURA designed a sculpture park and an exhibition and education center in the place of the former Auschwitz concentration camp, in Oświęcim, Poland.
Architecture firm NArchitekTURA designed a memorial sitting on a synagogue destroyed 80 years ago in Oświęcim, Poland. Dubbed Paths of Life, the seemingly randomly placed stone surfaces of the monument installation symbolize the paths of life of the Jewish and multicultural community.
In addition to the sculpture park, they also completed an education and exhibition center, located in one of the historical buildings in the center of the city. Constructed over the past six years, the center allows visitors to learn about the history of the region’s Jewish population.
