Poznań’s sweetest and newest bar | CANDY

It’s almost like a play of dream and reality. It is fairytale-like, sweet, and very pink, almost like Willie Wonka’s factory from our childhood. The newest cocktail bar CANDY in Poznań will immediately attract fans of romantic interiors, pastel colors, and neon lights.

CANDY cocktail bar is located in Wrocławska, one of the busiest streets in the center of Poznań. It’s hard not to be amazed by the place as soon as you enter—neon candies, lollipops, and muffins hang everywhere, with giant balloon clouds welcoming you. The project was conceived by Emilia Szczudło from E’SpaceStudio. The interior color range is based on a combination of pastel pink and blue. The black and white striped wallpaper on the ceiling that frames the interior forms a strong and characteristic feature. Emilia combined the same motif with the arched windows, the bathroom flooring, and the exterior cladding of the columns. In the design process, the play of references to classic, chic interiors provides a more elegant atmosphere. The walls and ceiling are adorned with decorative stuccoes and the tabletops are covered in white marble.

But the modern, unique atmosphere is still present. The posters on the walls are collages of old sculptures, and the pink velour upholstered seats are reminiscent of 1950s American roadside diners, separated by a pink-painted steel grill. As is the custom these days, the big lamp is never used. In this case, Emilia took no chances with the mood lighting; there are no traditional lamps in the interior, the main lighting is provided by candy-shaped neon lights and hidden linear LED luminaires. The lights, floating in a neon glow, highlight the interior’s fairytale atmosphere and give it a young, futuristic vibe. Everyone is sure to enjoy a nice cocktail at CANDY!

A museum in Vienna has used classic paintings to raise awareness of how much the treasures we take for granted could change because of global warming. “It’s going to get a few degrees warmer in winter, so what?”, say many people about global warming. The Leopold Museum in Vienna

It’s like dining in a museum—Párisi Passage offers a revamped menu

The Párisi Passage is worth a visit for the breathtaking scenery alone. As Food & Beverage Director Márk Váradi says, it’s as if they worked in a museum, while guests can feel like visitors when they sit down for lunch or dinner. Perhaps that would already be enough to make
