LEGO’s new diorama sets bring the drama of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber duel and Princess Leia and Luke’s Endor speeder chase scene into your home.

Star Wars fans celebrate their beloved series every year on May the 4th. LEGO has joined the celebrations, launching multiple sets each year to mark the special day, alongside a thematic gift. This year, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, the LEGO Star Wars line has launched with a reimagining of the Emperor’s Throne Room scene.

Emperor Palpatine’s highly detailed rotating throne is joined by a special circular window element that surpasses all previous versions. The structure provides the basis for a duel between the LEGO figures Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Emperor Palpatine.

Another new feature is the Endor speeder bike chase diorama: in the classic chase scene, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker appear in camouflage as they chase a scout in the forested environment.
