From 6 to 8 April 2023, Texas Feels Slovenia will promote the Central European country in the United States.

A set of unique events to promote business, sports, science and tourism opportunities for the American market in Slovenia was held for the first time last year. The Business Investment Conference and the Slovenian Tourism Workshop will be held on 6 April, while the main event will be the I Feel Slovenia Night on 7 April, which will be followed by a Dallas Mavericks–Chicago Bulls basketball game.

What is Slovenia doing in Texas? The Dallas Mavericks, one of the best and most popular players in the NBA (the North American professional basketball league), have Slovenian Luka Dončić—who is also an ambassador for Slovenian tourism.

I feel Slovenia, the Slovenian tourism brand, has signed a two-year partnership agreement with the Dallas Mavericks, which will see I feel Slovenia featured in the most prominent locations at the American Airlines Arena, along the court and on the arena’s LED screens during the event, as well as promotional activities during the halftime break.
