Spain would gain energy from coastal waves

The Spanish have also embarked on research into sustainable, renewable energy sources, and have decided to install a wave power station in the port of Adriano in Mallorca.

The first Spanish wave power station would be provided by Swedish company Eco Wave Power, which did some similar developments in Israel and Gibraltar. The facility can convert 0.5 meter high waves into clean energy. The plant would supply around 400 households in the area.
