The multi-stage reconstruction process of the Tudor-style building erected in the second half of the 19th century will soon be completed.

The Nádasdy Mansion, located in Nádasdladány, served as the seat of the Nádasdy family until the Second World War. Now, it is revamped within the framework of a national castle and palace reconstruction project. The restoration of the castle’s interior was also part of the construction plan: portraits of the forebears of Count Ferenc Nádasdy will be placed in the Hall of Ancestors, and thousands of volumes of the former library will be restored by adding the duplicate copies of the National Széchényi Library and Festetics Palace’s library in Keszthely.

The aim of the reconstruction is to preserve the historical building’s condition for posterity and to implement modern touristic functions. The rooms on the ground floor, once used as representative halls, will be open to visitors and house elegant events as well.
