ANKA ART presents a limited edition handmade fan collection inspired by ten female characters. The pieces can be used both as statement fashion accessories and as unique home decoration.
The first limited edition pieces of ANKA ART, the original artistic branch of the Anka hand fan brand—which launches a new collection and collaboration every year—were created by illustrator Anett Hajdú. Anett graduated from MOME in 2011 with a degree in textile design and has been creating contemporary fashion illustrations since 2014. The collaboration resulted in ten distinctive, numbered fans with patterns depicting different, extravagant female characters. Each with a different personality, yet united by a truly striking attitude. One is sensual, the other is humorous, some are laid-back, while others are imbued with an unmistakable sense of passion. The collection‘s organizing principle is collage technique and abstraction that leans into the surreal.
