In this year’s edition of the festival, the organizers focus on Budapest, and the challenges faced by the 150-year-old Hungarian capital.
The program includes memorable films from the last decade and a half of the festival, short films about Budapest, and films shot in other cities and regions that reflect the most important challenges faced by Budapest. These include the creation of a liveable city, gentrification, the relationship between geopolitics and cityscape, architectural utopias, the protection of modern architectural heritage, and urban cycling.
The Budapest Architecture Film Festival, organized by the Kortárs Építészeti Közpotn (Contemporary Center for Architecture), will be held this year from March 2 to 5 at the Toldi Cinema.
