The iconic Jaguar E-type is reborn!

The swinging sixties are, well, swinging back: as a tribute to its iconic sports car, Jaguar Classic has unveiled the E-type 60 collection. To celebrate the model’s 60th anniversary, the original design has been rebuilt with unique accessories and innovative improvements—in all, twelve cars have been restored.

Six E-type 60 models were made with nine thousand and six hundred hp finished with unique grey paint and a black interior, and six E-type 60 Roadsters with unique green paintwork and a suede interior. Each one is uniquely painted in the original 1961 shades: the end result combines quality and exceptional engineering. Bespoke design elements complete the restored models: the centerpiece of this is the prominent E-type emblem, which also adorns the hood, fuel cap, chassis plate and clock face in the tachometer. The instrument panel also features the years 1961-2021.

Further improvements have been made across the restorations to meet modern-day needs: the most significant mechanical upgrade is a specially developed five-speed manual gearbox, designed to deliver enhanced reliability and durability, as well as smoother gear changes. Identical size stainless steel exhaust system as before recreates the original deep sound of the system.
