The Museum of the Future opens in Dubai

The Museum of the Future in Dubai opened its doors to the public on 22 February 2022.

The futuristic, organic shape building adorned with Arabic calligraphic inscriptions turns the concept of a museum on its head: instead of being a home for historical artifacts, it was created as an experimental space. The project, a collaboration between the Dubai Future Foundation and architect Shaun Killa, invites visitors to experience the technologies and trends that are shaping the future of humanity. Key themes include space travel, biotechnologies, climate change, ecology, health, wellness and spirituality. It aims to foster innovation, stimulating a new era of scientific discovery in the region and beyond.
