With an original height of 230 meters, the Varso Tower was already the tallest building in Poland, but now, with an 80-meter addition to its peak, it sets a new record being the tallest skyscraper in the European Union.
The Varso Tower is located in the heart of the city, near the Palace of Culture and Science. The 53-story office building was designed by London’s award-winning Foster + Partners, known for their sustainable projects.
The huge skyscraper is expected to take its final shape in 2022. It has a landscaped internal courtyard, a swift panoramic elevator and two roof terraces, from where we can admire the views of Warsaw from 205 and 230 meters above the ground. If that wasn’t enough, we can also enjoy the view from a restaurant that stretches across floors 46-48.
The Warsaw Tower is notable not only for its height; it’s also the greenest building in the country: it holds the highest BREEAM and WELL certifications in terms of energy consumption, safety and comfort.
