The Wine of Újpest 2020

The Wine of Újpest 2020

As a permanent program of the annual Újpesti BorVíkend event, the Wine of Újpest has been chosen once again out of the exhibitors of this year’s event. In 2020, the bikavér of Fekete Winery won the title, for which the team of Faraway Design designed a label.

The wine chosen as the winner of the Újpesti BorVíkend will represent the district at various official events for a year—accordingly, Faraway’s team designed a label where the traditional symbols of Újpest and the mentality of the winning winery could prevail equally.

The peculiarity of the concept is the novel, coat of arms shaped label divided into two sections, the left side of which will remain unchanged in the future, while the right side will display an illustration inspired by the winning winery of the given year. The illustration representing the Szekszárdi bikavér of Fekete Winery is centered around the vista of the winery, thus bringing the famous Szekszárd wine region to life.
