Everyone loves to wander in amazing natural surroundings. This sense of adventure is something that more and more people are embracing in the post-covid period. Perhaps this niche market was identified in Belgium, where a hotel has been built on water.
Floating on Lake Flanders in Belgium, the hotel is set on eight different rafts. Beyond their childhood dreams, the design duo of Tobias Knockaert and Kika Merlin was inspired by the threat of epidemics and adventure when they created this hotel floating on eight pontoons. The floating elements, called Vlotkamp, can only be accessed by canoe, ensuring complete tranquillity and total isolation.
