This year's winner is the new office of Bánáti + Hartvig

The Media Architecture Awards (Média Építészeti Díj) were presented for the 17th time at the Uránia National Film Theatre this weekend. The jury gave the award for the best building to Bánáti + Hartvig Architects for their own office, converted from a former restaurant. We have also reported on the project in more detail after the press tour.

Among the building designs, ŐRKŐ, the work of Hanna Kopacz was recognized, which is about the development of a gypsy settlement and the design of a model house. The Audience Award went to BIVAK for their Budapest Diákváros—Nagyvásártelep and its surroundings project. Of the special prizes, we would like to highlight the Austrotherm Special Energy Efficiency Award, which was given to the Lukács Manufacture team for designing the Panorama cabins.
