IKEA designer Friso Wiersma is connected to music in many ways, and is himself involved in singing. This strong bond has now been embodied in a special collaboration: together with electronic music artists Swedish House Mafia, they have reinvented IKEA’s famous FRAKTA bag in several versions.
The design has been specifically adapted to serve music fans. The accessory bag is equipped with compartments to keep tangled cords neat, and the shoulder bag is padded to protect laptops and other electronic devices. And the most FRAKTA-like bag is designed to store and carry vinyl records and other space-consuming items.
