Winners of Best in Design announced at Zlin Design Week

300 designers of 17 countries competed this year for the title of Best in Design, winners were announced by Julie Ondračková and Matěj Kovář at the Zlin Design Week on 7 May.


Best in Design is an international competition under the auspices of Zlin Design Week, which supports the design of the future, i.e. young designers under 30. This year, 185 women and 92 men from 17 countries applied and, as in previous years, the largest number of entries was again in the industrial product and design category. Milan Florián Flíček won in the Fashion Design category, Karla Gondeková and Karolína Matušková in the Communication Design category, Michal Štalmach in the Product & Industrial Design category, while Karla Gondeková and Karolína Matušková took home the main prize, as well.
