Designed by a 16-year-old Hungarian boy, Donát Fehérvári, the latest LEGO set is now being promoted by Thierry Henry.
There’s been a lot of exciting news around LEGO lately, with the hit series The Office getting its own set, and with Christmas approaching, the launch of several advent calendars. And most recently, a 16-year-old Hungarian boy’s dream has come true: Donát Fehérvári designed a working foosball table made from LEGO bricks, which was selected and produced as part of the LEGO Ideas program and will be available in shops from the 1st of November. The toy consists of 2,239 pieces, including 22 figures with 44 heads and hairs, so that anyone can build their own team, even based on their favorite flesh-and-blood players. They’ve also hidden a little extra surprise in it for Donát: one of faces of the team captains is based on his features. The kit even includes a trophy to give you something to fight for.
LEGO has also launched a major campaign for LEGO Ideas Table Football, with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as the face of the toy, who also features in the new commercial. He is joined by Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
