A design competition dedicated to Parmesan cheese

The Parmigiano Reggiano® Design Challenge combines Italian gastronomy and design: the aim of the competition is to enhance the dining experience through object culture, with a first prize of an Italian dream vacation.

The Parmigiano Reggiano, Italy’s all-time favorite cheese has been made using the same methods and ingredients for nearly a thousand years. This design competition aims to reinforce the role of Parmesan as a cultural icon, with the support of Italian design studios such as Alessi and Kartell. The design community is invited to submit authentic product concepts in the Cooking, Dining and Sitting categories. You can apply here until September!
