Each of these lamps has a unique number, making them a powerful symbolic gift, similar to an amulet, something to be valued by friends of Ukraine. According to designers, “these collectibles will become an embodiment of the Ukrainian victory and will grow in value over time.”
Downed Drone is a limited edition of 40 portable lamps made from spent Kyiv air defense shells. They turned the spent shells from the tumultuous Kyiv nights into unique designer lamps, “because light always wins.” But victory requires the participation of many people. Those who aim and shoot, and also those who create and organize fundraisers to send drones, equipment and vehicles to the front line.
Anyone who was in Kyiv on May 4 and May 16, 2023, remembers those nights when everything seemed to explode. You could see from your window how Ukrainian air defense forces shot down enemy drones and missiles. These were legendary nights, when the defenders of the sky stood up to the enemy. The Downed Drone lights are made from shell casings from those very nights. They were the real weapon that saved the lives of civilians, and now they will support the military, as the person who donates $1,100 will receive a Downed Drone light with a unique serial number.
