Barbusse Buro Illustration created a truly one of a kind Advent calendar for this year’s holiday season.

We could already lit the first candle of our Advent wreath three days ago, which means that we are officially at the finish line of Christmas preparations. I personally used to be a big fan of Advent calendars and getting a surprise treat every day as a kid, but over the past few years I haven’t seen a single calendar that showed something new or something extra.
Luckily, this won’t be a problem this year, because I found the one below. On the product simply called “the super Advent calendar”, each of the 24 days offers another work of art in Barbusse style, including Frida Kahlo painting her eyebrows or Myron’s Discobolus throwing a beer cap towards Munch’s Scream, amongst others.
Perhaps the funniest of all is the grinning van Gogh wearing sunglasses. But this is just the beginning, I’ll let the pictures tell you the rest.
