BOTANIQ Castle of Tura named best castle hotel in Europe

BOTANIQ Turai Kastély has won another international tourism award, this time, received the “Best Castel Hotel in Europe 2021” title at the International Travel Awards 2021.

The international competition, organized by KSA Tourism Marketing, attracted hotels and caterers from more than 100 countries. More than three thousand entries were received from all over the world for the International Travel Awards. A total of five hundred entries were shortlisted for the final round, where the jury of experts awarded prizes to two hundred entrants in each category.

Built in 1883, on a commission from Baron Sigmund Schossberger, the Neo-Renaissance castle was opened to the public in the summer of 2020 following a complete reconstruction by the BDPST Group and quickly became a favorite destination for travelers. The BOTANIQ Castle of Tura, reminiscent of castles along the Loire, set in a fairytale setting, is a high-quality hotel and event venue that is a niche player in the region’s tourism offer, and the award of the International Travel Awards shows that it is a remarkable achievement also by European standards.
