Budapest Design Week will be held in a hybrid form this year

Several programs of Hungary’s most significant design events will be held in the online space this year between October 1 and 11.

The coronavirus is inescapable also from the perspective of design, thus it received a great role in the program of the 17th Budapest Design Week, too. In the theme, on the hand, in the form of a video series produced by the event, amongst others, showcasing creative industry solutions called to life by the epidemic, and also in the method of organization.

The studio of Mandragora Design

The hybrid organization form means a combination of online and offline. Due to the limited number of participants, one of the most popular programs, the Open Studios studio-visiting series will also move to the online space, in the form of a photo-article series. The new website of the event will continue to offer exciting programs.
