Polish illustrator Dawid Ryski has designed the latest scarf collection for the French fashion house.
After Jan Bajtlik, who designed a scarf collection for the brand in 2020, another Polish artist, Dawid Ryski, has been given the opportunity to enrich the already wide range of illustrations for the fashion house. The two scarves designed by him will appear in the Fall 2023 collection and perfectly convey the elegance and chic for which the brand is known. The scarves, which refer to the Formula 1 Grand Prix, are perfectly in line with the “old money” aesthetic currently in vogue, of which Hermès is a prominent representative.
Hermès scarves have a long history, having been worn by Grace Kelly, Madonna and Jackie Onasis, so it’s no coincidence that they have become a symbol of luxury and elegance. The first scarf was designed by Robert Dumas in 1937, and since then many famous designers have created new Hermès scarves.
