Essence of the East | Tisza x HYPE

The salt sticks in plastic cups in every house party, the rooster-shaped lollipops sold in circus snack bars, bringing back our childhood, the refreshing jug of beer in the summer and the obligatory pickled cucumber at Sunday lunches make all of us, Hungarians, feel the same way—we are home. The essence of the East in László Bárdos’ unique graphics. Meet Tisza and HYPEANDHYPER’s joint T-shirt collection!

As an Eastern European design and lifestyle magazine, HYPEANDHYPER’s goal is to collect and showcase the unique stories, characters, objects and landscapes that determine and shape this part of the world. With a 50-year history behind its back, the Tisza brand, which still creates its trendy and premium products in collaboration with local undertakings—including sewing workshops and shoe manufacturers—to this day, has been in HYPEANDHYPER’s focus since the very beginning. This is why it is such a great joy to us to announce the collaboration of the two brands, in the framework of which we’ll release a joint T-shirt collection in the spirit of Hungarian basic flavors in the spring of 2021.
