Feminine silhouettes, maximum comfort—the Ukrainian clothing brand The COAT introduced their new collection

The cool, windy weekdays won’t be over for a while yet, so coats will remain a defining element of our wardrobe for months to come. However, winter dressing doesn’t have to be gray or plain. In the autumn-winter collection of Katya Silchenko’s high-end clothing brand, The COAT, we can find imaginative and elegant pieces that enliven the usual, almost boring sets.

The main focus of the collection presented at the Ukrainian Fashion Week is to play with different textures and various combinations of pastel colors. The faint shades of caramel, sand and mint can be paired with each other in a number of ways, making the inevitable layered dressing easy in cold weather. The sweaters and ponchos, which give a simple, chic look, are made of high-quality and durable materials such as Italian cashmere, wool and cotton. Lightweight, soft-touch textiles are completed by hand-made embroidery.

The loose look of the baggy overalls and the oversized bomber jackets are the perfect counter-poles to restrained yet ingenious accessories. The long bags with cross straps ensure practical and comfortable wear at the same time. With a cavalcade of elbow-length gloves, platform boots, berets and plaid-patterned scarves, everyone can find the piece that best suits their style.
