Hotel developer CitizenM has announced plans to build a virtual hotel financed by NFT, which will be set in a gaming world called The Sandbox and could eventually become a real-life location. Allegedly, they are the first hospitality company to venture in the metaverse.
As soon as the hotel is built, in cooperation with ambitious artists, CitizenM plans to design virtual artworks on the walls, which guests will be able to purchase.
