Gold medal for the Museum of Ethnography’s Motif Creator app

One of the six gold medals presented at the Pixel Perfect Awards for innovative digital solutions was won by the Motif Creator app, based on the collections of the Museum of Ethnography.

The app collects more than a thousand vectorized ornaments from the Hungarian and international artifacts of the Museum of Ethnography. The app allows free transformation of the motifs to create new visual forms without loss of quality and data. The solution combines museum resources and technology in a unique way.

Recognized as the best app, Motif Creator also points out that cultural, educational, and scientific research-based solutions can also compete with business sector innovations.
