Hungarian brands were outstanding at the Maison&Objet Design Fair in Paris

This year’s first Maison&Objet Design Fair was held in Paris at the end of March, where five Hungarian designers under the unified Budapest Select umbrella brand of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency attracted the attention of an international audience, with a lively interest in their products. During the event, several sales, orders and potential collaborations were generated, opening up new sales channels for the designers.

Five Hungarian designers exhibited at the trade fair, which attracted almost 2,000 brands and more than 50,000 visitors from nearly 140 countries: Boldizar Senteski, Concrazy,  ERROR N’ MORE, Meander Ceramics Manufactory and Oleant.

„At this year’s first Maison&Objet Design Fair, on-site sales were taken to the next level by domestic designers, whose coordinated participation under a single umbrella brand opened up new sales channels for them on the international market, highlighted Zsófia Bata-Jakab, CEO of Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency.

During the exhibition, a number of concrete agreements and negotiations were concluded thanks to the HFDA’s sales preparation processes. During the sales preparations, the Agency, in collaboration with the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hungary, contacted more than 100 potential professional partners, including a number of high-end restaurants, hotels, interior design agencies, galleries, retailers and public institutions.
